Area of Expertise: Statistics, Data Analysis, Computer Simulation.

Research: Her research activity is directed toward statistical analysis of data, development of models and algorithms, and numerical solving of mathematical problems of interest to atmospheric physics and biology. She was involved in many research projects both industrial and scientific and she coordinated some of them.

Short bio: Italia De Feis is senior researcher at the Institute of Applied Mathematics of the National Research Council of Italy, headquarter Naples. She received her PhD in Applied Mathematics and Computer Science at University of Naples “Federico II”. She has taught different statistical courses and data analysis, both in PhD programs and at CNR level for groups of colleagues of other institutes, but also in training programs for several research projects.
